A Safety Culture Built
Into the Business
The environments we work in — industrial refrigeration plants, food processing facilities, high-clearance warehouses, marine vessels, live commercial sites — don't allow room for casual approaches to safety. Every day on site carries real risk, and managing it properly takes more than a toolbox talk and a signed form.
At Absolute Zero Refrigeration, health and safety is a managed discipline, not a compliance exercise. We've invested in the people, the systems, and the processes to do it properly — and we hold ourselves to those standards consistently, not just when a client asks to see our documentation. The result is a team that works confidently in demanding environments, and a safety record that reflects that.

Our Credentials
Absolute Zero Refrigeration holds Site Safe accreditation and Impac prequalification — two of the most widely recognised H&S credentials in the New Zealand construction and industrial services sector. For clients whose procurement or site access processes require contractor prequalification, we meet those requirements.

Work With a Team That Takes Safety Seriously
If you're evaluating refrigeration contractors for a site with H&S prequalification requirements, or you simply want to work with a team whose safety practices match the quality of their technical work — we're happy to provide documentation, answer questions, or walk you through how we manage H&S in practice.
Regular Meetings and Site Reviews
H&S isn't a once-a-year conversation at Absolute Zero Refrigeration. We hold regular team H&S meetings, and Reece conducts scheduled site visits to check that procedures are being followed and that conditions on site are safe. Before each meeting, we review documentation and identify new or emerging risks — so meetings are productive rather than procedural.
